Govt announces day of mourning on demise of Edhi
KARACHI: The federal government has announced a day of mourning on the demise of famed philanthropist Abdul Sattar Edhi.
The national flag will fly half-mast on the key state buildings.
Meanwhile, the provincial governments of Sindh, Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have announced three-day mourning on the death of Edhi.
Also, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has directed Minister for Postal Services to issue Postal Ticket in honour of Abdul Sattar Edhi.
Edhi died on Friday night and was laid to rest with state honour today (Saturday).
