PML-N would serve Kashmiris after winning elections: Pervaiz Rasheed

RAWALAKOT: Federal Information Minister Pervaiz Rasheed said on Monday that the PML-N would work for the people of Kashmir after winning the elections there.

Pervaiz Rasheed said the following words during an address at an event held to welcome Dr Aleem into the PML-N.

"I congratulate Dr Aleem for joining PML-N," said Rasheed. "Whatever promises the party makes, it fulfills."

Pervaiz Rasheed said that the manifesto of PML-N focused on improving the standard of living of the common person. He also said that wherever the public voted for PML-N, signs of progress and development were visible there.

"After winning the elections in Kashmir, we will serve the masses in Kashmir as well," he said. "The PML-N is committed to its manifesto and after seeing the development in Rawalpindi and Lahore, people of Kashmir would also want similar development as well," he said.

Pervaiz Rasheed also said that the people of Kashmir would not want progress like the provinces of Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Special Assistant to the Prime Minister, Dr Asif Kirmani also spoke on the occasion and said that it was Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's vision to take along everyone for the sake of development and progress.

"PPP, Muslim Conference and PTI have no agenda for Kashmir," said Dr Asif Kirmani.
