PTI workers clash with media personnel outside NAB headquarters

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf workers got into a clash with the media personnel and with each other outside National Accountability Bureau headquarters on Monday, a private TV channel reported.

After PTI leaders filed a petition with the National Accountability Bureau against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his family for their alleged corruption, the party workers staged a protest outside the NAB headquarters in Islamabad, where they clashed and allegedly manhandled media personnel who were covering the demonstration.

Talking to media, PTI Chairman Imran Khan apologised for the alleged torture on media persons by the party activists. He claimed that strict action would be taken against those who subjected media men to violence.
