Aseefa Bhutto visits Lyari

KARACHI: Aseefa Bhutto Zardari, daughter of former prime minister Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, on Sunday visited Lyari and get cognizance of the issues facing the people of neighborhood, according to Geo News.

The younger sister of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto also visited birthplace of founding father of Pakistan, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, located in Lyari’s Wazir Mansion.

She was accompanied by local government minister Jam Khan Shoro. Aseefa Bhutto expressed concern over heaps of garbage and litter piled on the streets of the locality, asking the minister to ensure cleanliness.

Later on, she took to Twitter and informed her followers that she had a constructive discussion on garbage and sanitation with Chief Minister of Sindh and Jam Khan Shoro.

“They're committed to implementing innovative solutions for Lyari.” She said as a private citizen, it was great to visit Lyari and hear people's concerns first hand.
