Faisal Edhi refutes rumours about father’s health
By APPISLAMABAD: While refuting rumours regarding philanthropist and Edhi Foundation Chairman Abdul Sattar Edhi’s health condition, his son Faisal Edhi has said on Saturday that his father is feeling better now.
While talking to Private news channel Faisal Edhi said that Abdul Sattar Edhi was taken to hospital for routine dialysis.
The philanthropist was diagnosed with kidney failure in 2013 but has been unable to get a transplant due to frail health.
Earlier this month, former president and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari offered Abdul Sattar Edhi to be flown abroad for medical treatment.
Edhi, however, declined the offer, indicating that he preferred to receive treatment in Pakistan.
