‘Improvement in electoral system through cooperation not confrontation’

ISLAMABAD – Minister for Information, Broadcasting and National Heritage Senator Pervaiz Rashid on Monday said that sincere efforts were made by the federal government to save the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) from horse trading in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. In a statement, the minister said that had Imran Khan played his role in electoral reforms committee, the way of horse trading could have been blocked. He said that improvement in electoral system could be made through cooperation and conciliatory approach, not confrontational politics. He said that the PTI suffered from the policies of opportunism in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, but that was outcome of Imran's own philosophy of politics.
