If dues are not paid, electricity will not be provided: Asif
ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Water and Power, Khwaja Asif said on Friday that electricity supply to areas where dues are not paid will be discontinued.
Speaking to journalists after attending a memorial event for two WAPDA employees, Asif said if the need arises, transformers will be removed from areas where electricity theft is rampant.
Asif added, that for the first time industries are not facing load-shedding. The infrastructure is being upgraded, however areas where theft is rampant will require more attention, the minister said.
