PTI submits additional proofs of vote rigging

ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Tuesday submitted record of 74 constituencies to judicial commission investigating alleged rigging in 2013 elections.

The record comprised of several documents as well as audio and video ‘proofs’ of election malpractice in 74 constituencies. The commission, headed by Chief Justice Nasirul Mulk, has asked political parties to provide evidence. The panel has started examining proofs as well as witnesses of the alleged rigging.

Speaking to journalists after attending the hearing, PTI’s Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that the commission has accepted all evidences submitted by the PTI. Hearing of the commission was later adjourned till tomorrow (Wednesday).
