Ayaz directs govt to provide security for Fehmida Mirza
INPISLAMABAD – National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has directed the secretary interior and Sind IGP to provide adequate security to National Assembly former speaker and MNA Dr Fehmida Mirza and her family.
The speaker has given these instructions in response of a letter addressed to him by former speaker National Assembly Dr Fehmida Mirza. In a letter, National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq instructed the secretary interior and the Sind IGP to make proper action for the appropriate security to Dr Fehmida Mirza and her family.
The speaker also wrote that they would submit a report in this regard. He further said that as the custodian of the House it is my responsibility to make necessary arrangement for the security of all members despite he or she relates to any political party.
Earlier in a letter addressed to the National Assembly speaker, Dr Fehmida Mirza said that she and her family are very much concerned for our security and being the custodian of the House you are responsible to make sure for the security of all members of the National Assembly.
