Naltar crash: Naval chief visits foreign embassies
INPISLAMABAD - Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Zakaullah, visited Embassies of Philippines, Norway, Indonesia and Malaysia on Wednesday to offer condolence over the deaths of Ambassador of Philippines HE Domingo D Lucenario Jr, Norwegian Ambassador HE Leif Larsen and wives of the Malaysian and Indonesian ambassadors.
Expressing his profound condolence during his visit, the naval chief said the late ambassadors of Philippines and Norway were great friends of Pakistan, and like the entire nation, Pakistan Navy shared its grief with both the countries.
Admiral Zakaullah also paid tributes to the wives of Malaysian and Indonesian ambassadors for their valuable contributions and supportive role and said, “Pakistan stands by the brotherly countries in their time of sorrow”.
He said the entire nation was in a state of mourning over this catastrophe, and the officers, men and civilians of the Pakistan Navy stood with the aggrieved families in this tragic hour. On the occasion, the Admiral Zakaullah also recorded his condolences in the condolence books at respective embassies.
