Nawaz, Zardari discuss Karachi situation

ISLAMABAD - Former president and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari held a meeting with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif at the Prime Minister’s House here on Wednesday and discussed the political, law and order situation in the country, particularly in Karachi.
The meeting took place ahead of meeting of the premier with parliamentary leaders during which they were briefed about the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
Sources said during the meeting the two leaders agreed to continue the operation in Karachi with full force to bring back peace in the "city of lights". They condemned the killing of members of the Ismaili community and expressed condolences with the bereaved families.
