ISLAMABAD – Minister for Information Technology (IT) Anusha Rehman on Saturday said that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) had failed to provide evidences in support of its allegation of rigging in general election.

Talking to a private TV channel, she said that the PTI was claiming to have strong evidences of rigging but it failed to provide single reasonable evidence to the inquiry commission. The court takes decisions in the light of facts and documental evidences instead of anyone's desire, she added.

The minister said that the PTI was in infancy of politics and still needs time to understand democratic norms. She said that Pakistan was progressing under the leadership of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif which was also indicated by the different international organisations.

She suggested to the PTI to admit its defeat in the election and focus on it’s the provincial government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
