NewsKamran Khan, Azhar Abbas, resign from Bol
KARACHI: Kamran Khan, Azhar Abbas, Iftikhar Ahmed and other senior journalists have announced their disassociation from Axact backed channel ‘Bol’ in the wake of the ongoing FIA probe against the IT company.
The FIA initiated its probe following an investigative report on Axact in the New York Times which alleged that the company had made millions by selling fake degrees online.
The big names in the field of mainstream media and journalism took to the micro blogging website Twitter to announce their resignations.
Kamran Khan:
Mr. Khan was the Editor-in-Chief and President for the Bol Media Group.
Azhar Abbas:
Azhar Abbas was President and CEO, Bol News.
Iftikhar Ahmed:
Iftikhar Ahmed was Senior Executive Vice President, Bol Media Group.
Asma Shirazi
Asma Shirazi was Senior Anchorperson, Executive Vice President Bol Media Group
