News40 deportees from Masqat dodge officials, escape from airport
LAHORE: Over 40 Pakistanis, deported from Masqat, dodged custom and immigration officials at Lahore Airport and escaped from there, sources said.
Airport sources said 40 deportees arrived in Lahore via a private airline, where officials of Federal Investigation Agency, immigration and custom were waiting for them. The deported Pakistanis dodged the officials and escaped from the airport.
Inquiry into the incident has been launched.
Meanwhile, the FIA, in a letter, has held Airport Manager and Administration of the private airline responsible for the incident.
