People have right over all resources of Gwadar: CM Balochistan

GWADAR: “Poor people have all the rights over resources of Gwadar and no one can snatch these rights. Government would fully protect them. Whatever promises we made with the people has been fulfilled. Gwadar Development Authority Hospital, lying non-functional for eight years, has been made functional in record time of 8 days. We are working for interest of the province and its people rising above political and personal interests.”

These views were expressed by Balochistan chief Minister Nawab Sanaullah Zehri while addressing a gathering at the inauguration of GDA hospital here Tuesday.

Commander Southern Command Lt General Aame Riaz, Chief Secretary Saifullah Chatha, GOC 33-division major General Azhat Hayat, MPA Hamal Kalmati, District Chairman Gwadar Babu Gulab, Chairman GPA Dosten Jamaldini and others were also present.

Chief Minister said that by operating hospital, government has fulfilled its promise announcement of which was made by Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif during his visit to the area.

He assured that college of Gwadar would also be made functional to start teaching there.

He said service of people, particularly suffering humanity, is great work.

He was fully satisfied and happy by seeing this hospital functioning.

He said the way women prayed for him, was an asset for his life.

He said civil and military leadership would resolve other problems of Gwadar jointly. People should cooperate with institutions and Army.

Commander Southern Command Lt General Aamer Riaz said that functioning GDA hospital is important headway towards Gwadar’s development. It was desire of General Raheel Sharif this hospital should be made functional at the earliest. Hospital would further be expanded in coming days.

He said owing to efforts of Chief Minister, Chief Secretary and Pakistan Army, hospital has started functions. Positive decisions have been taken for providing modern facilities of treatment at the hospital which would be implemented shortly. He said Pakistan Army would continue to contribute its share for the development of Gwadar and Balochistan.

He said this hospital is a gift for the people of Gwadar from China and he thanks Chinese friends for this. “ We hope that China would continue its cooperation in the interest of Pakistan and Gwadar”.
