Opposition walks out after Khurshid rejects PM’s clarification

ISLAMABAD: Prime minister Mohammad Nawaz Sharif briefed about his and his family’s business history in the session of the Parliament but opposition leader Syed Khurshid Shah in his brief speech rejected the PM’s clarification and the opposition members walked out of the session on Monday.

Just after Khurshid Shah’s speech, the speaker invited Imran Khan, chairman of Tehreek-e-Insaf, but all the opposition members including Imran Khan walked out of the Parliament.

The leader of the Opposition said in his brief speech that the prime minister did not answer their seven questions which were simple and innocent but he did not clarify about the offshore accounts of his family.

Khurshid Shah said that the speech of the prime minister raised the number of questions from seven to seventy.
