Imran ready to clarify his position over offshore company in NA

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan has stated he would give explanation over his offshore company allegations in the National Assembly prior to the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

Speaking to media in Bani Gala upon his return from London, Imran Khan said, “If I am given a chance, I will clarify over the allegations in the light of opposition’s ToRs about my offshore company first and then ask PM Nawaz Sharif to do so.”

He said, “I am curiously awaiting for the Prime Minister’s address to the parliament today.” He asked if the Premier will also listen his speech in the National Assembly?

Khan went on to say, “I am answerable to the people, and yet to decide if I clarify my position in the parliament or hold a press conference.”

Commenting Chief Justice, Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali’s reply to the government over Panama leaks inquiry commission, Imran Khan said everyone was aware what the CJP would reply.

Imran said the chief justice will agree upon the terms of references framed by the opposition.
