JI to launch anti-graft drive across the country, says Siraj
KOHAT: Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Sirajul Haq has said that the future of the country and the nation is dark because of the present ruling elite. While addressing a public meeting at Lachi in Kohat on Sunday, he said that the corruption of the rulers is enough to destroy the country and there is no need of Indian nuclear attack for the purpose.
By: NNIHe said the JI had launched a campaign against corruption and rallies against corruption would be held in all major cities before the train march from Peshawar to Karachi beginning on May 25th. He said that he could also give a call for Islamabad march if necessary.
He said the prevailing system that produced Zardari’s, Nawaz Sharifs, Bilawal’s and Musharraf’s must end adding that under this system, son replaced the father and daughter replaced her mother as party leader and ruler. He said that these people came from US or Europe at the time of elections and the media and the western powers gave them full coverage. He asked that how could these people feel for the poor and hungry when they have not experienced hunger and poverty.
Sirajul Haq said that the JI would establish the system of Caliph Umar bin Khattab adding that education up to matriculation would be free and the parents not sending their wards to free schools would be jailed. He further said that free treatment would be provided to the patients of five major diseases adding that nobody would be allowed to build a house of more than 10 marlas because bigger houses at the moment are occupied only by a house owner, his wife and a pet dog.
The JI chief said that the nation wants accountability adding that the public money is being transferred abroad and the rulers had started personal business.
The ruling party and also the opposition are part of this game and new names are being revealed every day, he added. He said the accountability must begin with the prime minister and his family adding that the prime minister wants accountability of his choice.
While referring to the execution of Maulana Motiur Rahman Nizami in Bangladesh, he said that the Bangladesh’s Prime Minister Hasina Wajid had sent two emissaries to Maulana Motiur Rahman promising that if he apologized for supporting Pakistan during the 1971 events and felt sorry for that, he would be pardoned. However, Maulana Nizami flatly refused to do that and stated categorically that Pakistan was an ideology and he could not deny supporting the fact, he added.
He said that the Indian Premier Modi, during his visit to Bangladesh, had presented to Hasina Wajid a photograph showing Pakistan Army’s general Niazi surrendering to Indian general. He said that Modi had also told Hasina Wajid that he had played a role in the dismemberment of Pakistan adding that it is tragic that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had presented the same to Modi at his Jati Umra residence.
Sirajul Haq said that if the ulema and religious parties stood united, all the problems of the country and the people could be resolved.
He said that JI noted some southern districts of KP besides Peshawar, Kohat, Bannu and Lachi are being ignored in the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) adding that such a corridor is not acceptable to the people of the area.
