Bilawal for establishing free drinking water camps across the Sindh

KARACHI: Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party has directed the Party and workers to establish Free Drinking Water Camps across the Sindh province during the current heat-wave for the general public.

PPP Chairman passed these directives during a meeting with former Federal Minister and PPP MNA Mir Aijaz Jakhrani who called on him at Bilawal House today.

Jakhrani apprised him about the sizzling heat-wave across Sindh in the absence of electricity supply as Federal government and its electricity-supplying entities have failed to provide electricity for longest period in day and night.

“Situation being created through electricity outages and load-shedding of 16 to 18 hours duration taking alarming turns. People may come out on streets and take law into their own hands, if improvements were not made by Federal government in power supply,” Aijaz Jakhrani informed the PPP Chairman.

Bilawal Bhutto said that he has taken congnizance of the situation and already asked the Federal government to ensure power supply without interruptions otherwise our Party will stand together with the people fed up of scorching heat with mercury hitting at tormenting 51 C and unannounced load-sheddings.

PPP Chairman also directed the Party workers to establish Free Drinking Water Camps in every city, town and villages to provide relief to the people.
