PTI still part of joint opposition: Khursheed

Sukkur: The Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Khursheed Shah has called for resolving issues in the Parliament amicably.

Talking to journalists at his residence here on Sunday, he said that he believes in resolving issues in the Parliament. He said that people come to the streets when issues are not resolved in the Parliament. He also said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan decided to come to the streets when there was no other option. He added that Imran has not parted his ways from the united opposition and expressed hope the government will resolve the issue amicably.

He said that Panama leaks issue has now become a global issue and that Sharif family earlier rejected reports about their properties and now proofs about these properties have come to the surface. He said that Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) wants to further strengthen democratic system in the country and that the opposition parties are in favour of dialogue with the government to resolve the issues.
