PM meets Ali Gilani to felicitate him on his recovery
MULTAN: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif reached at the residence of former prime minister Yousaf Raza Gilani to felicitate him on the recovery of his son Ali Haider Gilani.
PM Nawaz is accompanied by his son Hussain Nawaz, wife Kulsoom Nawaz and other relatives. The prime minister presented flowers to Ali Gilani and congratulated him on his recovery.
Ali Haider Gilani, one of the four sons of the former prime minister, was rescued by the Afghan and US forces during a joint raid in Ghazni province of Afghanistan against Taliban on May 10.
He was abducted in May 2013, kept in Faisalabad for two months and then taken to tribal areas before being moved to Afghanistan. It is pertinent to mention here that PM Nawaz had sent his plane to airlift Ali Gilani from Kabul.
