Czech CGS calls on General Raheel
General Josef appreciates achievements of Zarb-e-Azb, pays tributes to Pakistan's sacrifices in bringing peace, stability in region
By: APPRAWALPINDI: Chief of General Staff (CGS) CzechRepublic Armed Forces General Josef Becvaron Tuesday called on Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif at General Headquarters.
During the meeting, matters of mutual interest including regional security situation and measures to enhance defence cooperation between both the countries were discussed, an Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) press release stated.
The Czech CGS appreciated achievements of Zarb-e-Azb military operation and paid tributes to Pakistan's sacrifices in bringing peace and stability in the region. Earlier, on arrival at General Headquarters, a smartly turned out contingent of Pakistan Army presented guard of honor to the visiting dignitary, who laid wreath at Yadgar-e-Shuhada.
