Accused in Christian couple murder arrested: Rasheed
LAHORE: Information Minister Pervaiz Rasheed stated that the accused of killing Christian couple in Kasur have been apprehended, Geo News reported.
Talking to media here Sunday, the information minister said: “the government stands by oppressed people in Kot Radha Kishan incident.”
Commenting on the appointment of Chief Election Commissioner, Pervaiz Rasheed said that the government had made contacts with other political parties in this regard. He said: “consensus was developed on the name of Rana Bhagwandas, however, he refused to accept the offer.”
He criticized Imran Khan and said no one was ready for CEC after Khan’s treatment with former election commissioner Fakhruddin G Ibrahim.
The minister maintained that dialogues were not ended from the government side, adding that Imran Khan should open the handcuffs of his talks team.
