NewsCOAS Sharif, DG ISI Akhtar discuss security situation
RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff, General Raheel Sharif on Tuesday visited the Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) headquarters.
According to a ISPR press release, the COAS was received by DG ISI Lieutenant General Rizwan Akhtar. The Army chief was briefed in detail about the internal and external security situation of the country.
The COAS appreciated the role played by the ISI for national security and lauded the contributions and sacrifices of its officers and men towards strengthening the defence of the motherland.
