Pakistan born kid becomes world’s youngest Microsoft IT specialist
Ayan beats previous record held by six-year-old Mehroz also from Pakistan

ISLAMABAD - Pakistani-Briton Ayan Qureshi, who has only just started going to primary school, successfully completed the assessment to become the youngest Microsoft Certified Professional on the planet.
A five-year-old kid broke the previous record of six and a half by passing the exam at the age of five years and 11 months. Microsoft’s stringent exam is normally taken by adults after they graduate from university because it was so highly regarded by employers. The school kid from Coventry almost missed out on the chance to write the test after shocked invigilators thought he was too young to take the exam that is meant for adults after they graduate from university.
Officials from Birmingham University called Microsoft’s American headquarters to check if he was allowed to write the exam. The five-year-old completed the test well within the time limit of two hours, The Mirror reported. In doing so he has set a new world record for the youngest person ever to pass a Microsoft exam - at the age of five years and 11 months, beating the previous record held by six-year-old Mehroz Yawar, also from Pakistan.
Ayan, who was born in Lahore, before his family moved to London in 2009, lives in Coventry with three-year-old brother Rayn, his father Asim Qureshi and mother Mamoona.
