Imran tells Marvi Memon to stop the drama

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman, Imran Khan on Saturday said Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was a small province and it was the federal government’s responsibility to provide the province with additional police and funds to support the large number of internally displaced persons (IDPs)

Speaking to reporters outside his Bani Gala residence, Khan said PML-N leader Marvi Memon should stop creating drama and tell the federal government to help Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. “Three million IDPs have come to the province due to the ongoing operation.”

The PTI chairman’s statements regarding IDPs were in reference to rioting at an IDP camp in Bannu during food distribution drives and Marvi Memon staging a sit-in outside the Bannu jail until arrested IDPs were released.

Khan claimed 45 people were shot on the night of August 31 and Ishaq Dar had admitted that the money of the Sharif family was taken abroad through money laundering.
