Govt decides to tighten security in Islamabad on Nov 30

ISLAMABAD: The federal government has decided to beef up security and make it foolproof on November 30 in the backdrop of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) call for a massive rally, Geo News reported Saturday.

Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar said the army will be deployed at key state institutions including Supreme Court, Pakistan Television (PTV), Parliament House and Prime Minister House.

To a question regarding the arrest of PTI leader Imran Khan, Nisar denied such news and said that no such decision has been made.

The minister further stated that only the Prime Minister will decide about whether to continue or discontinue the dialogue process with the PTI.
