Afghan president gets warm welcome at PM’s House
APPISLAMABAD - Afghanistan President Ashraf Ghani on Saturday received a warm welcome in a formal ceremony as he arrived at the Prime Minister's House here for tete-a-tete with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
The prime minister received the visiting dignitary on his arrival at the Prime Minister's House. On the occasion, the national anthems of both the countries were played. The smartly turned out contingent of armed forces presented guard of honour to the foreign dignitary. Afghan president saw the guard of honour before the introduction by him and the prime minister of each other’s delegations.
This followed the one-on-one meeting between Afghan president with the prime minister discussing bilateral and regional matters.
