‘PTI aims at helping masses to get rid of slavery of status quo’

JHELUM - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan said that his party struggle is not meant for power but aimed at helping the poor masses to help them in getting rid of slavery of status quo and creating awareness among them to raise voice for their rights.
Addressing a gathering of PTI supporters at Syed Zamir Jafri Stadium of Jhelum on Sunday, Imran said that people from across Pakistan would reach federal capital to give their verdict against status quo. He said that time has come to fight for our rights and establish naya Pakistan – new Pakistan, based on justice, equality and dignity.
The PTI chief said that leaders of the political forces ruling Pakistan for last three decades in turns were no preparing their children to take the reign. He alleged that public wealth was being spent to sabotage protest movement of PTI. He shared his vision for naya Pakistan, saying that his party, if came into power, would invest on people rather than roads, underpass or overpass etc.
He said that Pakistan was a country blessed with a young population. “If we could properly channelise the energy of this young population, there would be a big change in Pakistan,” he said “I can proudly say that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has the best police force despite police IG has been asked to introduce reforms.”
Imran said “KP police as working according to the law.” “We will stick to merit only. Only 200 competent and honest people could change the destiny of Pakistan”, he said. He was confident that naya Pakistan was in the making. He also urged the people to shun politics of ‘biradriism’ and vote for the best candidate.
He announced that he would go to Larkana on November 30 to break the chains of fear in Sindh. He said that PTI would stand with the oppressed Sindhi population who is being treated as animal by feudals. He condemned the firing incident in which his supporters were injured and also visited them later to inquire about their wellbeing.
