Air chief discuss security issues with Chinese, Qatar defence ministers

DOHA - Pakistan Chief of the Air Staff Air Force (PAF) Air Chief Marshal Tahir Rafique Butt called on Qatar Defence Minister Major General Hamad Bin Ali Al Attiyah on Sunday.
During the meeting held in cordial atmosphere, the two dignitaries discussed the respective regional security issues and plausible solution. There existed the unanimity to resolve the pertinent issues. The coherence in approach for resolving the issues with mutual cooperation was appreciated by both sides. Brotherly relations with Qatar have yielded the cooperation in training and operations of both the Air Forces. The ongoing operations against miscreants were also discussed at length during the meeting.
Earlier the air chief met with Chinese Defence Minister Chang Wanquan. Both expressed their satisfaction on the current level of cooperation between both the defence forces in general and Air Forces in particular. He offered collaboration in various bilateral developmental programs. This visit bears for recalling effects on the long lasting relations of two neighbouring friends.
