INP

ISLAMABAD: Musaddaq Malik, spokesman for Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, on Saturday rejected assertion by Imran Khan that the premier has invited him for talks. Malik said no such offer has been made and the PTI chairman was making a misstatement. He said whenever a meeting is to be held between Nawaz Sharif and Imran Khan, it would be according to the law and constitution. Imran Khan during his address at a public meeting in Sahiwal on Saturday said that he has been invited by Nawaz Sharif but he would not meet him. Meanwhile, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Pervaiz Rasheed has also declared the allegations and claims of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chief Imran Khan as bundle of lies. Responding to the PTI chief’s blames levelled against the government during Sahiwal rally, Pervaiz said neither Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif contacted Imran nor made any request for resolving the issues on table of talks. The minister said that since the court had issued warrants against Imran, he was in trouble and was trying to find words to clarify his position and satisfy his supporters. He also raised question over the language used by PTI chairman against the rival politicians. He said that Nawaz Sharif enjoyed complete support from masses and majority of political parties and had become a symbol of fear for PTI chief. Pervaiz Rasheed said that Imran alleged others of misuse of national exchequer but he himself was wasting millions of rupees of public money on protest rallies.
