Toll in Thar rises to 35 as 8 more infants die
THARPARKAR: After eight more children lost their lives in drought-hit Tharparkar, the death toll now stands at thirty five, Geo News reported Monday.
According to the sources from Civil Hospital in Mithi, eight children who were being treated at the hospital lost their lives today due to malnutrition and other related diseases.
Two of the deceased infants aged five and ten days and belonged to Dhondar and Loniar villages..
After today’s deaths, the toll has increased to thirty five during the current month only.
