*PTI chief says only 200 ‘capable individuals’ are enough to create a new Pakistan *Struggle aimed at helping masses get rid of slavery of forces of status quo

JHELUM: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan said on Sunday that a “decisive battle” will take place in Islamabad on November 30.
Addressing the public rally in Jhelum, Imran said that the people of Sindh should be ready as “I am coming to break the chains of fear”. He said only 200 “capable individuals” are enough to create a “new Pakistan”. Imran Khan alleged that the government paid Rs 270 crore to the Intelligence Bureau (IB) to fail the sit-in protests against the government. He said that the time has come to get rid of those who indulge in traditional politics of thana and katcheri. He said that “the PTI will not send billions of dollars abroad like the traditional politicians”.
Imran Khan claimed that more money is being spent by the government in a bid to fail the PTI’s movement against it. The PTI chief said that if required he will remain seated even for more 90 days. He said a “decisive battle” between the people and the “status quo” will take place in Islamabad on November 30. Imran said his party’s struggle is not for power but to help the poor masses get rid of “slavery of status quo” and to create awareness among them to raise voice for their rights. Addressing a mammoth gathering of PTI supporters at Syed Zamir Jafri Stadium, he said that people from across the country will reach the federal capital to give their verdict against the status quo.
He said time has come to fight for our rights and establish “Naya Pakistan”, based on justice, equality and dignity. The PTI chief said that leaders of the political forces ruling the country for the last three decades in turns were now preparing their children to take the reins of power. He alleged that public wealth was being spent to sabotage protest movement of PTI. The PTI chief also shared his vision for “Naya Pakistan”, saying that his party, if it came into power, would invest in people rather than roads, underpasses or overpasses, etc.
He said that Pakistan was a country blessed with a young population. “If we could properly channelise the energy of this young population, there would be a big change in Pakistan. ... I can proudly say that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) has the best police force although IG police has been asked to introduce reforms.” Imran said the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police is working according to the law.” “We will stick to merit only. Only 200 competent and honest people could change the destiny of Pakistan,” he added.
The PTI chairman was confident that “naya Pakistan” was in the making. He also urged the people to shun politics of biradriism and vote for the best candidate. Imran announced that he would go to Larkana on November 30 “to break the chains of fear in Sindh”. He said the PTI will stand with the “oppressed” Sindhi population “which is being treated like animals by feudal lords”. He condemned the firing on his party’s supporters, some of whom were injured, and visited them later to inquire about their wellbeing.
Meanwhile, addressing the rally, Awami Muslim League (AML) leader Shaikh Rasheed said, “We are not against democracy, we are against the government tainted with rigging.” He accused Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari of eating away the country like termites.
