Gen Sharif conferred with US Legion of Merit Medal

RAWALPINDI - Chief of Army Staff Gen Raheel Sharif currently on official visit to the United States was conferred with US Legion of Merit Medal for brave leadership, sagacity, vision, efforts for peace and stability in the region.
According to ISPR here, Gen Sharif and his delegation were greeted with a full honor guard at the US Defense Headquarters. He met with Chairman Joint Chief Staff Gen Martin Dempsey, Defense Deputy Secretary Robert O Works and Commander of the Marine Corps Gen Joseph F Dunford.
