General Raheel calls on CIA chief, discusses regional security
CIA director acknowledges Pakistan’s accomplishments of Zarb-e-Azb military operationRAWALPINDI - Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif visited Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) headquarters in Langley and met CIA Director John Brennan.
General Raheel and CIA chief discussed regional security challenges and the future line of action, Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR) Director General Lieutenant General Asim Bajwa said.
The army chief specially highlighted the need for permanent peace and stability in the region and requirement of conducive environment for re-initiating Afghan owned and led reconciliation process.
The CIA director acknowledged Pakistan’s accomplishments of Zarb-e-Azb military operation, saying that it has yielded positive impact on regional security.
