Zardari condoles with French president over Paris attacks

ISLAMABAD - A Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) delegation led by former Senate chairman Nayyar Hussain Bukhari called on French Ambassador Martine Dorance on Friday morning and delivered a condolence letter on Paris terror attacks by PPP Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari addressed to French President Francois Hollande.

The letter reads “Please accept our deepest condolences, personally on behalf of myself, and on behalf of the PPP at this very sad incident. We stand in solidarity alongside you at this very difficult time and mourn this monumental loss with you and your nation and grieve with you and the people of France. We are committed to eradicating the evil forces causing such destruction and loss from our communities. We assure you of our commitment to work alongside you to do whatever is required to ensure the safety and security of our people and our nations.”

The delegation was comprised of the assistant political secretary to co-chairperson and former member of National Assembly Fauzia Habib, former National Assembly deputy Speaker Faisal Karim Kundi, PPP Foreign Liaison Committee Coordinator Palvasha Khan, and Islamabad Central Secretariat In-Charge Amir Fida Piracha.
