NewsPTI presents resolution in PA over Bangladesh executions
LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Monday presented resolution in the Punjab Assembly (PA) against the hangings of individuals in what it termed the garb of 1971 war crimes.
PTI’s opposition leader in PA, Mian Mehmood-ur-Rasheed put forth the resolution which regrets execution of individuals who had supported Pakistan in 1971 war.
“These hangings are taking place on the behest of India,” the resolution stated.
It also expressed sympathies for the bereaved families of the executed individuals Salahuddin Qadir and Ali Hasan Mujahid.
The resolution has demanded of the government of Pakistan to play its part in preventing Bangladesh from resorting to such cruel practices.
