No room for intolerance, extremism in Pakistan: PM
INPISLAMABAD – Lauding the role of the Pakistan Air Force in eliminating terrorism, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Monday said that there was no room for intolerance and extremism in Pakistan.
He expressed these views during his meeting with Chief of Air Staff Air Marshal Sohail Aman - who called on him here at the PM House - a statement issued by the PM House said.
Nawaz said that officers of the Pakistan Air Force had set high standards of professional competence, adding that Zarb-e-Azb military operation would be taken to its logical conclusion.
The air chief briefed the prime minister about the overall regional security, operational readiness and future plans to augment the deterrence capabilities of the Pakistan Air Force.
