Pakistan becomes member of IDLO

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has become full member of International Development Law Organization (IDLO).

The agreement to this effect was signed between Pakistan’s Ambassador to Italy Nadeem Riyaz and Ambassador Michele Valensise, Secretary General of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the depository country for the IDLO Agreement at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, revealed a press statement issued by ministry of foreign affairs of Pakistan. The IDLO is an inter-governmental organisation headquartered in Rome exclusively devoted to promoting the rule of law. It enables countries to design, reform and strengthen those laws and institutions most relevant to deliver justice, dignity and economic opportunity.

IDLO’s work ranges from helping draft a national constitution, commercial law, intellectual property law, environmental law, to every other area of law, national or international.
