MQM terms Bilawal’s comments ‘preplanned policy’ of PPP

KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has strongly condemned PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s statement against Altaf Hussain, terming them a threat.

Addressing a press conference along with Rabitta Committee members, MQM leader Haider Abbas Rizvi said: “MQM considers Bilawal’s statement a preplanned policy, as PPP patron-in-chief was reading his written speech.”

He said Bilawal Bhutto’s aggressive speech and tone openly reflects his thinking. He added that MQM could also call for countrywide protest against this open aggression.

Abbas said Bilawal’s comments against Altaf Hussain were threatening and MQM would seek explanation from PPP on the floor of Sindh Assembly and would also raise voice in National Assembly and the Senate.

MQM would adopt constitutional, legal and political path over the statement of PPP leader after three days of Eid, Abbas said. He said his party would also mull over the coalition with PPP in Sindh.

Earlier on Monday, Bilawal warned Altaf Hussain to control his "Namaloom Afraad," saying that “Uncle Altaf if my workers get a scratch, forget London police I (Bilawal) will make your life miserable.”
