LAHORE/OKARA - Former president and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari said on Friday that no elections were taking place on immediate basis as these would be held after three years.

Talking to a delegation of the PPP leaders from Okara led by former provincial minister Ashraf Sohna at Bilawal House Lahore, Zardari said that no one can stop the PPP from coming into power through the force of public mandate in the next elections. He said that all the activists of PPP are brothers of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto and they consider bibi’s son as the real reflection of Bhutto. He said that he will make PPP the real party of Bhutto within one year in Punjab.

The former president said that the PPP rally on October 18 will be a big success with the support of masses. He said that the rallies which had been termed successful recently were not organised with the support of the masses. He said that the nation will soon come to know about the real facts of the rallies as to who made these rallies successful and for what purpose these were organised. He asked the party workers to accelerate efforts to make Okara mini-Larkana. He said that the friendly countries don’t want instability in Pakistan.
