CM reviews losses from Indian firing in Chawinda near Sialkot
Shahbaz cautions India to remember, Pakistan also nuclear power

SIALKOT – Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif visited the Chawinda Sector near Sailkot and reviewed the losses from the unprovoked Indian firing.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that the firing from the Indian side was strongly condemnable and the whole responsibility of the loss of human lives, cattle and the properties lies on India. He gave away the cheques of a financial assistance and compensation to the heirs of those martyred in the firing.

The chief minister cautioned India to remember that Pakistan was also a nuclear power. He said that Pakistan was in a position to retaliate. However, being a peace-loving country, we want peace and tranquility in the region. He said that the whole nation was grieved over this Indian act of firing.

Shahbaz assured the people, especially the victims of the Indian firing that the government would stand by them in the hour of trial.
