Memon says Imran should apologise for offensive comments

KARACHI: Sindh Information Minister, Sharjeel Memon said on Wednesday that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan should be credited with giving rise to the politics of insolence.

Memon spoke with media after reviewing arrangements for the rally on 18 October at the Quaid’s Mausoleum. The PPP leader called for an immediate apology from Khan over his use of offensive language against people. “We can tolerate anything but the insult of the people of Pakistan.”

The provincial information minister said some people could not accept the PPP’s popularity among the masses. Memon claimed that the rally on 18 October would be biggest in the history of Pakistan and would prove that the PPP was the largest party in the country.
