India violates LoC ceasefire again: ISPR

RAWALPINDI: The Indian army opened unprovoked firing along the Line of Control (LoC) violating the ceasefire agreement once again on Wednesday morning in the Kailer sector near Bagh and Nezapir sector near Rawalakot.

An Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) statement said Pakistani troops responded to Indian firing.

Four children were injured when Indian forces opened fire in the Nakyal Sector near Kotli last night.

The firing resumed a day after the Directors of Military Operations from Pakistan and India made contact over a hotline to discuss the situation along the LoC and working boundary.

At least 12 people have been killed from unprovoked Indian firing at the LoC and working boundary over the last two weeks.
