Initial results are not in my favour : Hashmi
MULTAN: Senior politician, Javed Hashmi said that initial election results were not going in his favour and he would congratulate his opponent if he lost the contest for by-election in NA-149.
Speaking to media on Thursday, he said that option of ballot should be kept open if it becomes necessary to remove somebody from political landscape.
According to the unofficial results coming out so far following the today’s by-election on NA-149 Multan show his rival Amir Dogar in clear lead.
He said that he played his role in the by-election despite being ill, adding that he had not contacted the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz.
Hashmi added that this election proved change can only be achieved through the ballot box and he considered this his victory.
