Security agencies issue security alert to Punjab Assembly Secretariat

LAHORE - Security agencies on Friday issued a fresh security alert to Punjab Assembly Secretariat in wake of the new wave of terrorism in Pakistan.

In the letter received from the security agencies, Punjab Assembly Secretariat is advised to cut down all the trees running along the boundary walls as terrorist may use these trees for their negative schemes. Electricity poles in the premises must also be removed as terrorists may climb up the pole to get inside the building.

It has also been advised in the letter to beef up the security to maximize monitoring and checking.
