Pakistan condemns terrorism in all forms, manifestations: president
ISLAMABAD - President Mamnoon Hussain has said Pakistan condemns terrorism in all its forms and manifestations and atrocities and destruction carried out by the terrorist organisations in Syria and elsewhere.
He was talking to Air Marshal (retired) Athar Hussain Bukhari, Ambassador-designate to Syria in Islamabad on Monday. He said that Pakistan has consistently called for protection of the sovereignty of Syria, cessation of hostilities and violence by all sides. The president underscored that Pakistan always seeks friendly and enhanced relations in all fields with Syria.
Meanwhile, talking to ambassador-designate to Italy Nadeem Riyaz, the president said that Pakistan deeply values relations with Italy both bilaterally and in the EU context. The president noted that Italy is Pakistan’s third largest trading partner in Europe.
The president stressed that Italian entrepreneurs should be encouraged to explore opportunities available in the alternative and renewable energy sector of Pakistan.
