Neither Kashmiris nor Pakistanis have lost courage: Masood

‘Objective of Uri attacks, hostilities at LoC by Indian forces to divert attention from human rights abuses in Kashmir’

ISLAMABAD: President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Masood Khan has said that neither Kashmiris nor Pakistanis have lost courage, a private news channel reported on Sunday.

Speaking in a press conference at Kashmir House in Islamabad, Khan said that the objective of Uri attacks in Indian-held Kashmir and the hostilities at Line of Control (LoC) by Indian forces was to divert the attention from human rights abuses being carried out in Kashmir.

He said that the Kashmir issue is on the agenda of the United Nations. He added that the Kashmiri people rejected the Indian occupation via referendum every day. AJK President said that the world is silent on the issue as it has different matters to resolve.

It should be noted that Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir Farooq Haider has said that India will never make the mistake of waging a war against Pakistan as the country is aware of the consequence it will face.
