ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that despite the differences with the government on multiple issues, his party supports Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on the Kashmir issue and the Indian aggression along the Line of Control (LoC).

“We will support you. The PPP has taken a clear stance on these issues. This is a turning point in Pak-India relations,” he added.

A united Pakistan can counter any Indian aggression and by working together, national security goals can be achieved as there is no military solution to Kashmir, he said.

Bilawal said that they would stand shoulder to shoulder with Nawaz Sharif – when it came to Indian aggression. According to the PPP chairman, there was a need for unity to tackle the issue of Indian aggression and there was no military solution to the Kashmir issue.

Nawaz chaired a meeting of parliamentary leaders to discuss the security situation with a special focus on the situation arising out of Indian troops’ unprovoked firing at the Line of Control (LoC) and the Indian army atrocities being committed in Occupied Kashmir.

Addressing the session, the Nawaz said that the session was very important because a unified message from the political leadership of Pakistan will be sent out.
