Imran hints at change of date of Islamabad Dharna

LAHORE: Imran Khan, Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, has hinted at change of schedule for a day or two for the announced Islamabad sit-in.

Imran Khan had announced a massive sit-in to besiege the federal capital on October 30 against corruption of rulers after Panama leaks allegations against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s family.

Talking to media here Saturday, Imran Khan said, “The final date of Islamabad Dharna will be finalized tomorrow (Sunday)”.

Khan said if Nawaz Sharif had not done any corruption why he was scared of accountability.

About Islamabad rally, Imran said, “All the routes leading to government offices will be blocked”. “The federal capital will witness a sea of people, however, out protest will be peaceful,” Imran maintained.

PTI Chief said he had not contacted any other opposition party for Islamabad shut down, invitation is open for all.

“No option is left but to come on streets if the democratic institutions fail to provide justice,” Imran said justifying his rallies.

Only those benefiting from corruption have joined hands with Nawaz Sharif, he added.
